Investment Opportunity

$50,000 annually to convene CBOs, strengthen organization capacity, and advance community-driven projects that are positioned to secure funding

Decarbonization & Retrofitting

Reduce energy costs, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and transform public facilities into resilient, reliable community assets that also serve as models for sustainability.

Investment Opportunity

$500K to advance electrification of Milpitas’ emergency facilities (police station, 911 call center, etc.)
$2M needed to match public financing to install microgrid at the McEnery Convention Center

Resilience Hubs

Secure funding to implement 2026 Resilience Hub Plan priorities for Santa Clara County, including community resilience centers and recovery food hubs that provide critical services during and after emergencies.

Stormwater & Flood Protection

Protect neighborhoods, public infrastructure, and waterways from flooding while improving water quality and roadway access, and enhancing public open spaces and pathways.

Investment Opportunity

$6 M needed to close the remaining funding gap and enable construction of two stormwater capture projects in San Jose, totaling $13.4M

Sea Level Rise Mitigation

Protect Bay-side coastal inundation zones from flooding, given the expected 1–2 feet of sea level rise by mid-century and increasing storm events.
