Phase 1: 2026–2028

Secure revenue from public and private sources through sponsorships, membership dues, and direct project funding. Leverage funds to provide capacity-building technical assistance, help SC4 projects secure financing, and explore long-term funding mechanisms.

Phase 2: 2029 & Beyond

Seek blended public and private financing, enabling full grant-making and TA services to directly support resilience projects countywide.

About

Santa Clara County Climate Collaborative (SC4)

Climate change is resulting in higher temperatures, more frequent and intense extreme weather events, rising sea levels, and more severe droughts. These impacts pose intensifying risks to our residents, our environment, and the critical infrastructure in Santa Clara County. Immediate, collective action must be taken to adapt and reduce greenhouse gas emissions – keeping our communities safe and resilient, while promoting equity and quality of life for all.

No single entity or organization can solve the climate crisis alone. By organizing at the countywide scale, the Santa Clara County Climate Collaborative will amplify solutions and enable transformative change across individuals, communities, institutions, and the region as a whole.
